May 8, 2012 In accordance with the new EU regulations regarding visa requirements for applicants who wish to visit the Schengen countries, the Netherlands Representative Office in Rammalah will start implementing the biometric system as from May 10, 2012 onwards. This means that from each visa applicant all 10 fingerprints will be taken at the consular desk of the NRO; this will be compulsory for all applicants; exempted are children under 11 years old and applicants who’s fingerprints cannot possibly be taken because of physical restrictions/disabilities.
